Today, Bentley Motors has unveiled the all-new Bentley Mulsanne at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California.
The Bentley Mulsanne is inspired by Bentley’s founder, W.O. Bentley, and his crowning achievement – the 8-litre engine of the 1930s.

The all-new flagship Bentley Mulsanne embodies W.O. Bentley’s passion, paying respect to a bygone era; it is a thoroughly modern statement of luxury driving and grand touring. An engineering masterpiece.

Revealed by Dr. Franz-Josef Paefgen, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bentley Motors, said:

The new Bentley Mulsanne is a powerful and elegant driver's car like nothing else on the road. Exquisitely handcrafted and beautifully engineered, the new grand Bentley captures the essence of our brand in a contemporary context.

Conceived, styled and engineered entirely at the home of Bentley Motors in Crewe, England the Mulsanne goes into production next year in a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the Crewe factory.

Following the world debut at Pebble Beach, the all-new Mulsanne will be on display at the forthcoming IAA Frankfurt Motor Show (15-27th September 2009) with the first Mulsanne due to be delivered from mid 2010.

Geneva International Motor Show

Bentley is to showcase a range of models at the impressive Salon International de l’Auto in Geneva, including the new Mulsanne.

In its 80th year the Salon International de l’Auto is one of the most important shows on the calendar and is the only annual European show.

With press days on the 2nd and 3rd March, the motor show will be the stage for announcements for many exhibitors, including Bentley. Doors open to the public on Thursday 4, running until 14 March, offering 80,000 square meters to explore.

Bentley’s exhibition will feature the new flagship Mulsanne, the pinnacle of British motoring. The ‘Commissioning Display’ will also be exhibited, following its success at the Frankfurt motorshow in 2009. The display illustrates the vast colour and choice options, the quality materials and levels of craftsmanship employed to create the Bentley Mulsanne at its home in Crewe.

North American International Auto Show

The prestigious automotive show, the NAIAS (North American International Auto Show), opens to the public on 16 January at the Cobo Centre, Detroit. Running until 24 January the event will showcase more than 700 vehicles, including the new Bentley Mulsanne, making its public debut in North America, following the launch at Pebble Beach in August.

Middle East International Motor Show

The new Bentley Mulsanne will be making its public debut in the Middle East at the 10th Dubai International Motor Show, between 15-20 December. The Biannual event attracted over 100,000 visitors to the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in 2007 and is the largest automotive event in the Middle East; attracting Royalty, VIPs, top ranking government officials and international celebrities from the motoring world. Bentley will also be exhibiting the Continental Supersports, Continental GTC Series 51 and the Continental Flying Spur Speed at the show.
